Getting out of SPL competitions, dont have enough room on my shed to keep them......also planning to buy a new car so i need the funds and dont plan on installing subs in my new car.

No subs in the new car?i give it 2 weeks... i'll keep an eye on this thread. I don't have much funds at the moment, but i am trying to sell a few things on some forums. I may be interested in buying one of the subs.

These subs would be good for SQ, they are a SQ sub.....i just used them for SPL because they were the best value for money....still are.
Havent heard them in a sealed box yet, but i did build a low tuned ported box for them and they sounded really good. Played almost anything easily, kept up with techno etc.
Yeah, i *might* go with a pair of 10s in the new car, but the front stage will consist of 8" midbass, 3" midrange and tweeter all active with about 600wrms per side so atm the plans dont include sub/s. We'll see how the fronts go first.
Isnt it bad when youre already planning a system when a) you dont have the car yet and b) havent even sold off your old gear, lol.

LOL, yeah we'll see what sort of sound i get from the front stage first.....i dont "want" subs in the new car, but if i dont get the desired result, a pair of 10s will be considered.

Mine was a little beaten up, scratches on it and missing a few grub screws.....so far from perfect. Sold for $800 plus postage in less than 6 hours
