na there is no reason you cant use it on a bike,
my mate has the same alarm on his r1 and it works great.

Will it suit an 'upgrade' of factory security systems? I'm tempted to try connecting it to a VZ Calais, but don't want to lose the existing factory security measures, deadlock, etc.
