hi all sorry for no reply ,yes for template reasons its just a v8 and box no car sorry if i posted in the wrong section, nath you bought the exhaust off me hope you were happy with it, the rest of the stuff needed for a convertion would be ps pump, altinator ,ecu ,starter ,starter and battery loom for v8(think there different from v6, maybe tail shaft, and abit of time and effort

bare in mind i bought the motor trans and k frame for 1700 hoses were 150 ,water pump 80 ,engine and trans mounts 200, it starts to add up is what im getting at
it needs a new home i dont have room
does noone want a v8?
I do but dont think its worth the effort for the conversion, what else will i need;
engine accessories (alternator, etc)
v8 tail shaft
v8 ecu
v8 dash cluster
in addition to pull the engine & gearbox out won't you need to pull out half the dash and all the wiring to convert to the v8 wiring loom as well? just seems like too much haha

you dont need the cluster or to rewire anything ,it is an effort converting
I already have a v8, but out of curiousity, does a v8 conversion require a engineers? silly question i know.
You selling the parts or car as a whole? need the flex plate if still in vgc, need posted to 3156, if so, how much?
don't the v8 clusters go up to 250?

nah man the hsv type 3 clusters go to 250 ,and if u already have a type 3 cluster like your calais does its a straight swap its just a different gear drive inside the cluster.
you do need a different ecu and engine wiring loom ,(loom is provided) i also have a crane i just got lazy and bought a new car it was easier.
