Default Twin piston VT brake conversion suit VN-VS

    ITEM:

Up for sale is a VT twin piston brake conversion to suit VN-VS. It was intended for my car but i decided to go for a different kit.

    Included is the follwing:

-2X Front VT braking calipers (s/h cond).

-2X pairs VT brake pads with plenty of meat left (s/h cond)

-2X VT rubber brake lines that come off VT calipers. (s/h cond) (have heard some people use these in the conversion but the lengh is slightly different so would recommend custom braided lines)

-2X VT-VZ brake rotors. Were removed from new vehicles that were sent to be made into HSVs. New cond. Genuine Holden

-2X Hub ring shims to allow the VT-VZ disks to sit properly on VR-VS commodores. New condition.

-VT 1 inch fast fill master braking cylinder. (s/h cond) Comes with VS resivour as to sit straight in a VN-VS.

-VT dual diaghram booster. (s/h cond) Included is a half finished custom braket to make the booster fit into a VN-VS. More work on the braket would be needed.

If you were willing to post to 3175 in victoria, and the postage cost wasn't astronomical, I would grab this.

    Can you let me know?

If you plan on doing the conversion on any Commodore pre VR that doesn't have floating front disks then you would need hub adapters. If you are doing the conversion on a VR-VS Commodore then all parts are inlcuded.

    Postage to Port Lincoln SA 5606 would be as follows;

$55 with Smartsend interstate courier 4-5 buisness days.
    or
$64 with Smartsend interstate courier 4-5 buisness days $200 parcel insurance included.

No it doesn't as the conversion was intended for my VR. It does come with the hub adapter shims/rings to suit VR-VS.

Would need to be welded to a steel plate for reinforcement. Or you could just use your VS booster and easily cut off a couple of mm off your pushrod. Would bold up and work fine. Lots of people do it this way.

The VT dual diaphragm booster would work better though.
