ITEM: 304, 308 Block painstakingly deburred and smoothed over. Oil returns opened and ENTIRE valley smoothed and dressed. Bought as a short block so included are the crank, pistons and oil pump.LOCATION: Nowra, NSW (South Coast)

DELIVERY/PICK UP INFORMATION: Pick up preferred or delivery within 50-70kms for a cold case of beer! I do go to Canberra every now and then if you are willing to wait and part with a case.

OTHER INFO: Casting numbers are prefixed with "VA*******". When I pulled the engine apart the pistons weren't in the best shape. One had damage to the top ring but none visible in the bore. All surfaces have been given a light wire wheel. Hopefully I'll get the chance to use someones high pressure hose and clean it up a little more.
This will be listed for sale in other places but I thought I'd give JC members the first chance.

I forgot to mention It was sold to me with virgin bores but I don't have the gear to measure it accurately. There is also an "X" cast into the big end of the rods. Not sure if this is standard or not.

what number is cast into the side of the block?
304 or 308?
im guessing this would be a vk/vl 304 maybe because of the VA prefix?
im not interested in buying just trying to make it easier for other members in case this serial # goes against the rules of the rta regarding conversions/replacements
