Default FS: V6 3000 Stall Torque Converter **SOLD**

ITEM: 3000 stall torque converter to suit V6 4L60E (may fit 4L60, I'm not 100% sure on that though)

    LOCATION: VIC (Burwood)

CONDITION: Used but in excellent condition

    PRICE: $350

DELIVERY/PICK UP INFORMATION: Pickup preferred due to weight, but will post at buyers expense

    PAYMENT OPTIONS: COD, Direct Deposit

CONTACT DETAILS: PM or call 0433 738 395

OTHER INFO: This is a 3000 stall converter that was supplied and fitted by RVO Automatics in Dandenong. It will stall to 3000 behind an ecotec, and behind a worked V6 (turbo, supercharged etc) expect it to stall up to around 3200.

It has always been used with fresh trans fluid and filter. The only reason for removing it is I need a lower stall speed to suit the supercharged engine.

It is a good mod for naturally aspirated ecotecs and really helps them get off the line.

Are you also saying that you wouldn't be able to granny-take off either?

Of course you can. It will only flare to the stall speed when you put your foot down. If you just granny foot it then it's like driving a normal car...but when you put the foot down it puts the engine in its sweet spot

OHH sorry, i had no ideas on stalls.

If thats the case how much it cost you to fit?

Oh btw, don't know my transmissions too well so from what you're saying you're not sure if it fits VY AUTO?

As far as I know it will fit a VY. The transmissions are essentially the same internally, only the bellhousing is different from VS to VY.

If you are ok with the tools you could fit it yourself, but if you got a mechanic to fit it you would be looking at ~2 hours labour at a guess (and that would include giving the trans a service).

To all those who have contacted me about it, first one to put the money down gets it
