How does it actually attached? Is this meant for cars which aren't silver? Bit confused here.

Can be attached to the edge of the bonnet in a number of ways: double sided tape; or Silastic; or even can be screwed on if you want. Will fit any VZ no matter what the colour. You can leave it Silver or paint it the exact colour of your car -personal choice really.
