Would they fit a VR without being machined?
What size are the current tyres?

There is about 1cm room for me on my VX.

Oh and the wheels dont need to be machined

edit: Just did a bit of research and they should just fit with like 5mm gap, this is according to someones post who owns a old vr with my measurement on wheels. But As mentioned i can always sell you just the wheels and you can grab some 235's for cheap somewhere on ebay.
Ill sell the wheels on there own for 550-600

    reference:
how wide are ur tyres on ur vr/s ??

245/35's should be right, 245/40's would rub. I'm about 95% correct so don't hold me to it.

Did you have to recalibrate the speedo?

Edit* Just used tyre size calculator to find its 1% difference, Lol.

Yeah its legal because its within the 15mm change from stock. Only 1% difference, more wheel less tyre

Its fine when you get use to it, its a big jump from stock though. I remember getting them and thinking something was wrong with em but its just a harder ride
