FS: Manual VS V6 Ecotec Engine (with extra goodies)

Hi All,

ITEM: Up for sale is the original Ecotec V6 motor from my Series 2 Manual VS Commodore.

LOCATION: It is located on the NSW South Coast.

PAYMENT OPTIONS: Payment accepted is cash or bank deposit.

DETAILS: This is a very clean motor with an excellent service history and has travelled 143,xxx kms without missing a beat. This is a factory MANUAL motor and therefore has the two flywheel locating dowels in the crankshaft flange.

I have only replaced this motor as I have fitted an L67 instead.

Serpentine belt, tensioner and idler pullies have all be replaced with new genuine items within the last 3,000kms.

It is fitted with a VX inlet manifold, fuel rails and plenum which has been fully port matched and polished. Fitted approx 5,000kms ago with all new gaskets and seals

Detailed engine and rocker covers

Injectors have been completely rebuilt with new filter baskets, o rings, ultrasonically cleaned and flow matched within the last 5,000kms

5 month old 100amp Bosch alternator

Perfectly suited to someone looking to do a manual conversion with a clean, low km motor that goes strong. By removing the two crankshaft dowels this can also be used with an automatic gearbox.

Comes complete minus AC compressor, power steering pump and engine mounts.

I also have a short film recording of this motor running if genuinely interested.

I've heard of interstate estimates before of approx $200 but not certain as i've never done it. If you shop around and find a quote you'd be happy with, i'd be willing to strap it to a pallet for you no worries.

Just over an hour drive from Batemans Bay but already have a keen buyer lined up so at this stage i'd say its sold pending payment. I'll let you know if this changes.
