    OTHER INFO:
What is a Streetshift shift kit?
Streetshift simply recalibrates your transmission's hydraulic system electronically. The Streetshift increases shift firmness not only makes driving more fun and pleasurable, but slippage and heat are reduced - extending the life of your transmission! Anyone can install a Streetshift kit in minutes with a few simple hand tools. This design allows you to improve the transmission's shifting performance without removing the transmission pan or valve body. The Streetshift kit electronically enhances shift quality and is adjustable. A simple flip of the switch allows the transmission to operate in the performance mode. Flip it back and you are back to stock! You can expect instant changes from 1st to 2nd, faster shifting from 2nd to 3rd and no lag between 3rd to 4th.

Please note: This kit has been designed for VR, VS, VT V6 Commodores and also the VR, VS and VT V8 Commodores.

    Will it damage my car?
In short, no. The surging effect of the transmission in standard form to just slide into the next gear creates a lot of heat, which is your gearboxes worst enemy. By nearly disabling this surging effect, we are reducing the heat and stress on the transmission. This will also reduce the amount of wear on your clutches prolonging the life of your box. I have had stage 2 permanently on our test car driving around town and up highways as well as down the strip and no damage has been done.

How hard is it to install?
Its a very straight forward modification with only 4 wires. We do prefer it if you get a qualified auto electrician to install it for you. Streetshift takes no responsibility for any damage done to your transmission after installing it.

    How much does it cost?
For the basic on/off shift kit, $100. Bank deposit is highly preferred. It is much easier to do business this way rather then paypal due to their fees.

    How much is postage?
For each kit the price is $20 Australia wide. This covers packaging, registered post and insures that that your shift kit makes it to your door in one piece.

Postage time varies depending on where your located and which kit you bought. As these kits are not pre built, they are built as soon as i receive the order. Build time usually takes about a day.

Can i open the black box?
No. Due to some of the testers opening the boxes and tampering with some of the components Streetshift has put a safe guard in. This insures you dont destroy your transmission like the testers did. The box is sealed shut to block all sunlight and water. Fitted inside is a light sensing LED that if it detects light inside the box, the memcal will be wiped and rendered useless. This is to deter you from tampering with it and destroying your box then blaming the manufacturer.

What is included in the kit?
    1 x Hand held controller
    1 x Installation instructions
    1 x Length of solder
4 x Piece of heat shrink
