    Default VR V6 Berlina Vortech Manual - Wrecking

    ITEM: VR V6 Berlina Sedan, 5spd manual, 3.9 diff, Vortech V2 w/water injection

    LOCATION: Townsville, North Queensland

    CONDITION: While all parts are used all in good condition with low k's due to car being off road more than on

    PRICE: I have included the prices that items have cost me i know i wont get this for it but make me a reasonable offer

    DELIVERY/PICK UP INFORMATION: Prefer pick-up tho delivery can be arranged at buyers expense. if not too far from townsville can probably arrange a meet up halfway or something

    Bought car a few years ago spent heaps, blew up motor and box after fitting vortech. long story short converted it to a manual put a series 1 motor in it and then sucked water up intake and destroyed that motor too. so now i wrecking it to get something back for the ridiculous amount it has cost me over the last 3 or 4 years. car spent more time off road then on so most parts may be a few years old but done hardly any k's. i am a mechanic and spent a stupid amount of time on this car. car is still complete so please allow time for me to remove what you need!

    the car has power everything inc level 3 dash w/ trip computer and climate control (everything working)

    - Pacemaker extractors, suit auto or manual with 'Y' piece cost $550, hi-flo cat and 2.5" system with straight thru muffler cost $500

    - i also have another set of extractors, cant remember brand but they suit manual with 'Y' pipe also cost $350

    - Superlow springs and munroe gt gas shocks bout 30,000km on them - cost bout $800

    - strut brace (front) suit vr-vs cost $150

    - adjustable rear panhard rod to suit vn-vs live axle cost $150

    - front brake upgrade to VX twin piston calipers (rebuilt with new seals/pistons), slotted rotors 298 x 23 (i think), new brake hoses and bendix ultimate pads no more than 5000kms cost bout $1000

    - 5 spd manual conversion kit - will include console (vgc), tunnel adaptor/boots, flywheel, HP clutch (flywheel side organic, pressure plate side ceramic), clutch cable, d/shaft with new greaseable unis and centre bearing (5000k max), vn manual computer w/ chip, modified harness (vn made to fit vr dash so cruise still works - only thing missing is clutch switch for cruise), pedal box (even had brand new pedal rubbers/pads), clutch fork has been modified/strengthened due to breakage caused by heavy pressure plate. gearbox was rebuilt (new input shaft, sychros and bearings) when in my old vn before someone ran into it so has done bout 30,000kms (25 in vn, 5 in vr) gearbox sat on a pallet for 2 years until i destroyed auto, basically everything you need to convert your auto to a manual, also i have both a 6 bolt (series 1) and 8 bolt flywheel (vn series II, vp, vr). was thinking $1250 for kit

    - will sell motor for parts too... heads have been ported, polished, crow race double valve springs and retainers, valves had a 3 angle cut to performance specs, valves have been unshrouded, combustion chambers cc'd also lowering compression ratio and removing sharp edges, they are series one heads modified to accept series 2 intake manifold with thermostat housing at front, manifold has also been port matched inc elbow and 65mm (v8) throttle body, 1.6mm reusable copper head gaskets and arp head studs. pretty sure bottom end has a bent rod so it is useless even tho whole engine was rebuilt less than 5000km ago. cost me bout $1000 for copper gaskets, surface grinding and valve springs plus alot of labour heads will be exp to post so pickup only

    - the sump has been modified with an oil drain hole in correct location for a vortech v2 sell $100 or with blower kit

    - msd coils cost $360

    - 6x 550cc greentop bosch injectors - direct replacement (less than 10,000km) cost $350

    - vortech v2 blower kit inc water injection, fuel pump, installation instructions, missing the splash shield from left hand front wheel arch. will need a new pod filter and intake pipework cleaned out cost me over $7000

    - 600 x 300 x 75 front mount intercooler with complete mounting kit to suit. has a small dent on bottom from tow chain when broke down - never used but was fitted to vehicle (originally test fitted then decided couldnt be bothered taking it back off) cost $300 + hours of bracket making mounting

    - vs SS seats blue/grey colour... have matching door trim inserts too. seats a bit dirty but no tears and would come up well with a shampoo

    - i have also a 3.9 lsd live axle diff - gears are good but lsd centre needs new clutches - spins 2 sometimes (from vn). i have a rebuilt lsd centre just both diffs need to be put together to make 1 good one.

    - i have speedo convertor/corrector fully adjustable to suit whatever gear ratio you have cost $200

    - haltech interceptor piggyback ecu cost over $1300

    - pretty sure i have a spare 3 bar map sensor too if someone wants it (ontop of the one in the blower kit) - new

    - set of 4 - 19x8 koya inox wheels 2 brand new tyres (less than 500km) 2 almost new (probly less than 10,000km) 245/35/19's with chrome nuts/locknut. these wheels have a stainless steel lip on outer edge so if you scratch them you can polish it out (i know this as i scratched one a few years ago, never forgave myself for it.. til i got it fixed and now i dont even know which one it was)


    as you can probably imagine i loved this car and put alot of time and effort into it. being off the road for so long it got sunbaked and paint is now ruined and i cant justify spending anymore on it. i hope someone can get something out of it. please message or email me if you want anymore info. the time that went into just modding the wiring harness was incredible, many hours looking at diagrams and matching wire for wire to make it work. then the hours a spent on the heads and the dollars argh, i hate even talking bout it! please make reasonable offers and i will try get back to you asap. i know i wont get back what it cost but pretty sure this car has cost me well over $25,000 and i didnt pay for labour!! i feel sorry for those that dont have/access to the tools/equip/knowledge i had!

    was only gonna sell the gearbox as a conversion kit with computer, harness console etc, i think considering how rare they are to come across and the fact the box is rebuilt and all items in exc condition $1250 is fair and i think $150 for the level 3 dash all gauges and digital screens work fine with low kms

    yeah man its front and rear with the 3 piece rear seat (folds down in centre) it has the extra padding the SS has over the executives, much more comfortable than the stocka ones! ill put up a pic in a min, just gotta go take one!

    the rears also have headrests unlike executive seats
    pics of seats and door card to show material pattern. they look really dirty in pics, they are dirty but i think they look worse in photo. text me if you want to have a closer look!

    who is next for a bargain? everything bar seats still available inc interior trims, power window switches, trip computer, digital climate control, etc

    1500 ono for wheels and tyres

    500 for ported heads complete with head studs and 1.6mm copper gaskets sound alright? they will only suit series 1 motor but use series 2 intake manifold. i have the manifold too if you want it aswell let me know

    the top photos are from about 4 years ago. it has spent alot of time in the sun and the paint is now destroyed i am sick of spending money on it, i now have a 2 month old baby and building a new motor and painting it are out of the question so trying to get something back from it by wrecking it.

    the master cyl has done hardly any kay's as with most of the car, the booster probly original as i havent changed it so its done just under 200, $150 for both or offer

    it has abs i think that makes a difference... actually if i remember correctly it was a non-abs master with the extra port bunged off so it could be used on abs as they didnt have an abs model in stock when i replaced it, hope that helps

    vp 3.8 lt lowered T70 turbo 38 mm wastegate running 14 psi making 253 rear wheel kw lsd 3.08 gears. tuned by delcowizard

    also have the chrome grill inserts... not shown in pic above. all the chrome window trims are perfect cond except one has a dent in it including the window felts with chrome strip on interior

    Build it to handle the MANG
