Want it gone, make an offer
Want it gone, $400
REally want it gone... Will take $350...
Picked up a very similar system the other day as a HTPC for the girls bedroom. Has an E8400, only a 19" screen, and a slightly crappier graphics card, apart from that pretty much no difference. $200.
Thats the trouble with technology, it loses its value so fast...
I'm not disputing the fact technology changes so quickly, but it is a whole package including the pc itself, screen, keyboard, mouse, webcam, sound system... Just the accessories alone are more than what i am asking for the computer.
Like I said.. just bought pretty much the same package for $200, including accessories. The accessories are only worth all that when you buy them. Same as a blower on a car.. spend 6k on a Raptor and you only raise the value of the car by 2k.
You can buy a complete (brand new) package with i7 for not much over $600, the only extra would be the graphics card and you can pick up an 8800 for less than $100. If an 8800 was serving your needs, the onboard graphics on a Z68 would do just as well, so even that wouldnt be necessary.
I'm in no way having a go at you here, and I sincerely hope you get what you are asking for it, just pointing out the realities. Good luck![]()
I just want to sell it... Have moved onto a mac, and want to recover some of my costs... Will take reasonable offers
Being in the industry, $300-350 is a fair ask. A basic Core 2 duo tower with 19" monitor I sell for around $250 and yours has the graphics card, 1TB drive and better accessories Only difference being I supply a warranty. Try listing it on Gumtree mate 90% of the people on here are fairly computer savvy and would build their own systems.
