[NSW] Button Start ignition system (Cheap)

ITEM: Button start ignition system as seen in the new VF commodore, this will replace your key style ignition barrel with a button start type..
also it adds security to your car as the computer moduel that comes with it wont activate until youv unlocked the car with the key.. makes it impossible to hot wire..

" Push 1 " To turn on Accessory system

" Push 2 " To turn on Ignition system, and if your foot is on the brake the system will start your car till it runs.

" Push 3 " Turns off all Engine Ignition & Accessory systems

this was worth $600 when i got it and i havent seen them for awhile, they only have a $900 one and just a button for $200 so ill let mine go for that..

Hey mate what happens to your current key, do you still need to have it or is there a RFD key with the system?

Keep your original key. Once you unlock the car with the proper key for the car it will activate the module. . If someone breaks your window and trys to hot wire your car they wont be able to coz there wont be any power going to the module... wont power up unless you unlock the car properly

If u know weather it would work in a vs

Yeah mate still got it. . Not 100% sure if it would work in vs but if it has central locking theres a good chance it will

So what happends with the ignition barrel and the steering lock?

Well the button replaces the ignition barrel unless you want it fitted somewhere else. As for the steering lock im not 100% sure.. I would send you an item description but they dont sell this particular 1 anymore. .. they have newer ones now but there like $800...
