f.s: 355 stroker

i built this 355 for a friend who has now decided to pull the pin on his VK calais project, so the motor is for sale.

engine short is race prept, zero deck, line & tunnel bored, harrop 355 crank, A9L rods with ARP bolts, ACL race series 17cc dish pistons, bottom end fully ballaced, runs a true 10.5-1 compression. hi volume oil pump, JP double row timming gear (+2deg), oil restrictors were needed, baffled oil pan, heads ported with esky chrome moly springs & retainers and collets & shims, roller rockers & moly push rods, 304 crane cam shaft with a 525 lift (hyd) dialed in, recurved ICE ignition dizzy, runs a harrop single plane intake manifold followed with a 1000CFM MSD billet thottle body & runs a wolf 3D ecu.. also has billet rocker covers..

this is a basic discription to the engines combo and no expence spared on this engine..

i ran it on the engine dyno with another combo (286 cam) and it made 400hp with 420ft pounds of torque with a basic tune to the wolf 3D, but it maxed out the cam shaft, so i pulled it down and went for the biggest hyd combo i could get.. this motor will make 450-500hp with this combo and the proper tune to the wolf 3D, but if you change the cam shaft to a mechanical it will make 500+.. its never been started with the 304 engine combo, so the motors about 2hrs old with the 286 combo..

engine cost me $12,500 to build

his asking price is $8000

dont ask for Receipts as i dont have them because i built this engine in a mates workshop and i used his account to get all work carried out and parts orderd.. so for tax reasons, all receipts are amonst his paper work..

dont suppose you have a few photos? dads looking at a torana as a project which has no motor and box so i am trying to talk him into putting an 8 into it. he is set on a 6 though, but i reckon i can change his mind.

Acid tanked, new brass welsh plugs and brass cam plug.
Crank, rods, pistons, balancer & flywheel all balanced to each other, race series ring, bearings & gaskets, JP double row timming gear set, mellins HV oil pump, high energy sump & pickup.

Vn-vt castings, L34 valves (std) street ported by eddie woods
mecheined faces and inlet faces mecheined, piston to valve cleance checked.
