it does say that its a genuine holden pump.... so its a stock replacement pump
i thought they were internal for bosch pumps?

that is the bosch number that is printed on the pump.... bosch symbol, name and part number.... external high pressure pump for a V8 VN-VS

VN,VG & Early VP are the only V8's that had high pressure external pump
Late VP and VR / VS all went to High pressure internal pump only.
