FOR SALE: VR/VS V8 radiator NEW ORIGINAL GENUINE
I bought this radiator for a project car but didn't end up using it.
It is brand new and has never been used and is still in the original box.
Holden part no: 92056254.
I'm told it will suit all VR model V8's and VS V8 automatic models up to 1/12/1997 and suit all manual VS V8 models up to VIN L943729.
Postage is applicable to your location or free delivery in S.E. Melb area can be arranged.

To put you in perspective, give your local Holden spare parts joint a call tomorrow and get a quote from them, that part number again is 92056254.

Yes, it might be just a radiator, but it's no fun when you have to have to hand over your hard earned to Holden spares for one of these ... tell me, have you had to replace yours yet in the V8 ?

You wont get that type of money when you can get a better radiatior elsewhere for cheaper. When it comes to radiators, i doubt many people are after genuine ones.

There are quite a few of us that actually do take pride in the fact that we don't compromise the originality and quality of our cars by substituting genuine parts with second rate aftermarket parts.
As you're already aware, the radiator is one of the important components in the car and you want it to last as long as possible. Put in a not-so-original "better" and "cheaper" radiator and don't forget to take the rosary beads with you.
Sure you can put in an aluminium radiator, but how long will it last? Good luck repairing it if springs a leak or if you're plagued by stray currents or electrolysis sets in ... cooper radiators can be repaired many times over.

As i said, originality doesn't matter when it comes to radiators.
Theres plenty of companys out there that make a quality product for less than Holdens price (which most times is overpriced).
But of course, if i was selling a genuine radiator, i'd also make it sound as if anything other then genuine will crack after a month, making my item much more sought after to the uninformed.

No not yet and when i do i doubt i will go back to standard because like stealthy said there are much better radiators for not much more than you are asking however should you wana keep everything from the factory than this could be a good buy.? I mean how much would gmh charge for that.?,Anyways good luck with sale,
I'm not trying to dupe anyone here. If you want to use parts of questionable quality and origin, go right ahead - you're entitled to use whatever parts you want on your car, heck if you can make a Furd part fit, why not use that instead as it's cheaper than the Holden equivalent.
I feel sorry for your cars if you're running around with el cheapo spares on them. Ever seen those (EF or EL?) Foulcan's running around with cloudy, mirky "who knows what quality" headlights? I hope it wasn't you that recommended them ...
How much research have you done looking into radiators? (In case you haven't tried, Google is useful for this)
I didn't say that the radiator would crack, I was talking about cooling efficiency, electrolysis and repairing them.
If you've already replaced your radiator with one of these apparently "better" and "cheaper" radiators that you keep telling us about (and you've not had any problems with it) you should take advantage of your situation and go and buy a lottery ticket.
Others have not been so lucky ...
So when your time comes to replace yours, you're going to make a decision based on someone else's opinion rather than researching the information for yourself?
I doubt very much that someone would come back here and post that they had a bad run with a cheapie radiator - they would be told what else would you expect from using a cheapie part!!!
Why not find out how much you're up for when you have to replace yours, call them and get a quote for part number 92056254.
Thanks for the well wishes but it's not luck I need for the sale - it's timing. There's a well informed bloke out there who will make the right decision when he needs to.

Your a classic mate. You can get a custom radiator with better efficency cheaper than a new holden part.
On 90% of prices, Holden are dearer than everyone else. Deal with it.
You were the one who started being a smart arse when someone made a serious offer, all you had to do was say no, thats below my minimum and be done with it. Now you've just made yourself out to be a moron, who i doubt anyone here would actually purchase anything off now
And yes, my radiator is fine, and a quick search of my username on youtube will show what i've put said radiator through, and its still hasn't missed a beat, always cool, and never a leak.
