hey guys bought a cam and found out its to big for my engine so looking at selling. i bought the cam from a guy that had it in a vh sle but took it out due to being overkill for his engine

here are the specs


HYDRAULIC - Rough idle, strong
power in mid range and top end -6500
RPM. Needs 10-10.5:1 comp. 3.5-3.9
gear, hi-stall converter, modified heads
etc. for serious use.
BASIC RPM 3000-6500

I had this cam in my VB,

B cast heads, Maxitorque manifold, Holley 750, GrpA rods, 10.0:1 comp....
It went hard as in an auto with 2800 stall.... I swapped it over for a crane 286 and regreted it!!!

It used to spin the wheel after taking off!! 30 mtrs into full accel it would light them up!!, with the 286, it squeeled off the line and that was it....

304A is well worth trying, as a cam change is not such a big job if you dont like it!!

MMM....I'm tempted, I know what this cam is like.......very tough idle!!
Strong mid range!!

I have a 308 swb patrol manual with 4.8:1 diffs...Let me think about it.....

Any scuff marks on lobes?? Surface rust anywhere???????

I'm not a second hand camshaft kinda guy, but funds are tight.....lol
