FS VIC: Repaired VN Sedan Fuel Tank
ITEM: This is a fuel tank ready to go into a VN Commodore Sedan. When pulled out of the car it had a tiny hole in it which of course will make it leak. This hole has been repaired with a nickel bronze weld (Oxy Welder) and on the outside it has been painted with a coat of cold gal paint, then primer, then enamel red paint. I have just noticed that it has a chip in the paint over the weld where I have painted it so it just needs to be covered over again with more paint.
LOCATION: Bannockburn, Vic (15 Minutes out of Geelong on the way to ballarat).

OTHER INFO: I'm pretty sure I've covered it all lol. I might also add that the weld will not rust out when you put fuel in it... all you have to do is keep an eye on the outside where the weld is. as long as the car that it goes in is well maintained then you should be all good
