My Mates selling his LS1. It was purchased for a project thats no longer going to happen.
ITEM: Ls1 gen 3 5.7 ltr engine, complete with all accessories except air con comp.
has computer and engine bay loom,and electronic accelorator pedal.
Has only traveled 7000 klm's
Come out of VZ SS ute
Is oiled and sealed and hand turned every month
Air con bracket was broken off in accident but has been fixed and a bracket has also been purchased so you only need the pump.

Nah sorry mate, He originally bought it to into his landcruiser so he didnt need the box.
im chasing a LS1 , if he is negotiable i would be interested.
i can buy a full wrecked vz ss for $5,000 at auctions
and can get a motor, loom and box for 3000 (auto)

Nah i understand, i have seen a few cheaper these dayss, but they all have high K's.
I can ask him about 2400, but i doubt he will take it, its about half of what he has spent.
nah its all good i found a low km vx ss, thanks champ.
u can get the ls2 motors for brand new from holden for bout $4,000, saw it at my local holden dealer, brand new out of crate vz clubby motor, with leads the lot, although doesn't have computer and wirring harness, but still, gen3 would only be a couple of grand then new.

lol yeah I want to see it in a VH, the VH were looking at is a rolling shell, race ready setup for the commodore cup, so it may even see the cup not sure yet.
A one tonner would be a good project, but I just dont recon my mate would use it amongst the othe 5 cars he already has on the road, so a waste (and a gen3 hillclimb car isnt)
whats the one tonner like...road wise?

Havent found one yet, but thats his two choices, though there was talk of putting it in the Patrol..... Nothing will happen for a while yet, hes working flat out.
