Default Want to upgrade your VN-VP-VR-VS Wagon cheaply? Check this out

EDIT - South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne (Rowville)

    Ok guys,

Well im considering selling my VR Wagon. Now in the past couple of months ive done some expensive upgrades which im not going to get my money back when i sell. So, Im considering selling/swapping the following parts...

Suspension setup. Ultra low springs, shocks, adj panhard rod, heavy duty sway bar kit, top mounts etc... Basically EVERYTHING to professionally lower a car. Has done less than 2000kms and in perfect condition. I paid $1000 for parts (not including labor).

So if you've got a stock wagon i propose a trade... Your old suspension + some cash for my suspension setup (That way i can sell my car as stock).

Exhaust setup. Pacemaker extractors including Y peice, complete piping including rear resonator. Sounds excellent. Cost me $1000 in parts (Extractors were $650, but i think i paid too much).

Again, would like to do a direct change over plus cash my way.

Tyres/Rims - Ive got a set of VY SS 18" with 4 brand new tyres (5000kms at most) Bluestreck brand including silver bolts and locking nuts. Have some gutter rash/marks and 1 has a small buckel (Safe and roadworthy). Looking to trade for some stockies + Cash my way.

Stereo - I have a Pioneer 7" Touch Screen DVD player (will get specs shortly), Pioneer Class A competition Amp and 12" Kicker Sub. Also has 6.5" Splits. Not sure on specs exactly, will check shortly. Paid $3000 6 months ago. Was worth $6k at the time.

So yeah, i can help you change the parts over (Either at my place or yours :P). You can see/test drive BEFORE buying, so you know exactly what your getting.

Not looking for much, so open to offers.

    Cheers, Errol.

Not in SA, so probably not much use for you. I beleive it will fit all buick engines, although i could be wrong. Would probably be looking at around $500 for the change over (which is less than i paid for the extractors...)

Was hoping for a bit more than that mate. Its got 4 brand new tires which cost ~$250 each... So theres $1000 worth of rubber and $400 worth of rims... It would almost cost me $400 to put a set of intercepts on.

What sort of money would you want to go with 4 VN SS rims in roadworthy condition?

Hey mate, I would be interested in swapping my factory swaybars with you + adjustment. Ours is a live axle VP Berlina with lowish ks (170k). I believe the bars would be the same.. how thick are these and how much are you after.

    cheers

    Sorry for the delay guys,

I got a guy coming on Saturday to have a look, i think his fairly interested in swapping most of the parts. Will keep you posted.

As for the really low bids.... the idea of selling some of this stuff off is to make a little more money when selling the car. Hence i cant really afford to sell stuff like the rims off for $400 and it would cost me $200 to chuck a set of intercepts on.. and having no rims will decrease the value of the car by more than the $200.

So for a price guide, Has to be more than ill lose by taking those parts off.

    Cheers
