Hey guys,
I'm considering wrecking a 1996 VS Calais Ecotec. Its done 200,000kms and just had a major service including a reco transmission, new alternator, exhaust, leads, plugs oil, fan belt, and timing belt.
Im basically using the interior for my car, and going to scrap the rest. So the pack would include everything from radiator, long complete engine + gearbox (including Kframe), all wiring and ECU (wiring loom complete) etc. Will include full exhaust system as well, literally EVERYTHING you need to retrofit to older commodore. I can either pull these from the car, or sell them in the rolling shell. (No brakes or suspension)
I could do delivery anywhere in melbourne basically free, or anywhere in vic for a small fee. If a interstate buyer is really keen i could probably do delivery for under $400...
What would this be worth, and is anyone interested?
Cheers, Errol.
Auto. I know it would be more valuable/sort after as a manual...
So are you scraping the exterior? Panels etc...
Yeah, its been hit in the passenger side so the doors are stuffed, but the rest of teh panels are fine. Just want to know roughly what its worth. Im also wrecking a VR wagon
what colour is it? is the bonnet any good?
Do not listen to anything this man says, they are insane illogical thoughts propagated by us, the voices in his head.
Timing belt ? wtf ??? Ecotecs have gear drives and a chain !
