F.S - vn v8 complete 5 speed conversion

Hey guy's, i'm thinkin of selling my complete t5 conversion to suit the vn v8. It consists of everything needed from radiator to the lsd diff if need be. Dont have to take the diff. I bought it all to put in my vn v8 berlina but just don;t have the time to convert it to manual as i need my car on the road. It is origanally from a vn ss and the box had done approx 180,000 ks prior to being pulled out. there are no noises or clunks. and gear changes were smooth. I also have bought a new clutch plate to go with it as well. I wont be seperating the conversion parts unless you didn't want the diff. I've got no idea on a price. I know what i paid for it but I'm only putting this out there at the moment to see what offers i get. If i get a reasonable offer it will be sold. but i won't be giving it away either as these are getting harder to find complete. The gearbox has been out of the car for approx 2 weeks now. Also i'm located on the brisbane southside.

$2000 would be nice but i think i have to be a bit more reasonable. i know i wont get what i paid for it but i'm open to any reasonable offer. everything is out and ready to go to it's new home. just a shame i don't have the time to fit it all up.

I paid $1500 for mine a few years back (also out of a VN SS, poor VN SSs)


But wrecking yards will charge 2000 just for a gearbox.

mate, i paid just over the $2000 mark for the conversion and that didn't include the diff. i might have paid a bit much but my car is being used as a tow vehicle for my speedway car, and i just wanted a manual to make things alot easier. but i now have 2 sick kids and require money to help pay for their medicle expenses. if i didn't have to sell this kit beleive me i wouldn't be. i think i would be happy to get around the $1500 mark with no lsd diff. I rang a local wreckers this morning and i got quoted around the $2500 for the conversion plus another $800 for the lsd diff. so once again i'm open to any reasonable offers. someone nust want this...

hey nate, sorry but it's now not for sale. with no replies i've finnally had a weekend spare to do the conversion into my own car. i've only just done the conversion today! sorry...
