VN-VP V8 Performance Chip

I have a spare chip tuned by greenfoam to suit a vn or vp v8, it is a vr based tune that can only be run on premium unleaded, but in turn will boost your stock 165kw v8 to around 200kw at the flywheel with a decent exhaust and cai setup.


Cost for the memcal is $25 +Postage CHANGEOVER. If you want to buy the memcal outright with the tune it will cost an additional thirty dollars bringing the total up to $55+Postage.

I think this deserves an explanation though, because greenfoam is practically famous on here, dont want him getting stooged.

Why are you selling it? And why on a change over basis? Thats what looks shifty to me

mate i need some extra cash so im selling my spare for less than what it goes for on ebay. if i had a motor built by someone on this forum, then i decided to sell it would that be a crime?

If someone would rather pick it up in brisbane/goldcoast than get it sent and take a week or 2 in the mail. wouldnt that be much easier. i dont see it being a big deal.

I got one outright from Foamy for alot cheaper than $55.

Your a regular member that knows him personally of course he would do a cheaper deal, hell he has done tunes for free before. On ebay he charges 95 bucks for a memcal with tune so i think 55 is quite reasonable. 25 dollars is what i paid for the tune and the memcal is worth more than 30 bucks, phone a wrecker and ask how much there worth.

If yours is a vs commodore then my tune would not of worked anyway becasue you need the settings for the 4l60e as well as spark and fuel tables.

if this was genuine you wouldnt be offering a changeover option. most of the dodgy sellers stick to ebay. and everyone knows that memcals are never bought at the wreckers. they all get flogged in pockets

Ive sold a Greenfoam memcal too. Because Greenfoam did a better one for me. THEN I sold one the old bloke accross the road and now he raves about it every time we talk on the street.

i cant see where vnv8driver went wrong. All he did was sell a memcal he no longer wanted. Seems people here are so far up greenfoam they have taken such offence to vnv8diver's actions which are nothing wrong. hsvpunk he said it was a foam chip so how is that not answering your question, its the same as a foam one becuase it is a foam one

The thing is Greenfoam has changed his tune over time (no pun intended) for the VN's as he gets better at it and people give him feedback.

As for what you were asking - is it better that what greenfoam was offering on Ebay. Well yes and no. The 2nd tune from greenfoam in my VN is by far a better tune in my opinion. Uses a bit more fuel than the first but power delivery is heaps better. Heaps better.

As for how much you pay - like 50 or 100, it will be worth getting one for your car (or your mates car).

Just do it. You wont regret it at all. Just send your mate to greenfoams Ebay account and click on the buy it now button - it will be the best mod - bang for buck. No joke.
