Does anything need to be modified to fit it? I keep hearing things about having to drill holes, cutting out bits of the radiator shroud etc to fit them...

nothing needs to be modified although u CAN trim your radiator shroud so it sits better.

i have it screwed on either side and it sits perfectly without needing to adjust the bonnet latch.
