removed yesterday, all working fine and still driveable from a smashed vs. all parts there! done 192,***km's.
standard dual mass flywheel was replaced, along with whole clutch assembly roughly 6-8,000km's ago. so has a solid flywheel and daikin/exedy clutch which sells at well over 1000 to trade customers (retail at repco is 2535, lol).
everything necessary is there, full manual wiring loom, manual computer, gearbox, gearbox mounts, manual trim peice, full hydraulic clutch system, manual pedal box, tailshaft, manual tin floor panel, etc etc. absolutely everything necessary is there, down to every bolt, nut, washer etc. even the crank dowl pins are there to mount the flywheel on.
located in south west victoria, 20 mins from warrnambool. i can arrange to meet in melb if someone wants to buy the item. i will not be giving it away, i know the value of these gearboxes let alone a full conversion kit and it has had the dual mass flywheel replaced with a solid flywheel and good quality clutch kit.
was hoping for 2k, but to forum members will take 1800.
0404 304 838 my name is Matt, or call (03) 55 676 202 and ask for me. i'm a 4th year apprentice mechanic, and everything was removed properly by myself, so rest assured there. i also have a forklift to load the item, so if you want to freight it figure on that. postcode 3265.

do you still have the original flywheel?
no, i don't. i beleive at the time the dual mass flywheel was knackered, hence why it and the rest of the clutch system was replaced. the solid flywheels are a common modification and don't make it drive any different or that though, they're just stronger all round.

bugger i was just looking for a late vs to vy manual flywheel.
Still for sale mate? I have a 1996 VS Berlina Auto. Whats the amount of effort to get it fitted up? Never considered a manual conversion. Isn't the floor pan on the manual different to the one in the auto?
are you interested in selling the flywheel and starter seperate, thats all i really need, if you are pm me a price
thanks
change of plan guys, i'm definately not going to need this, and its taking up valuable floor space in the shed at work so i'm going to drop the price.
$1400 !!! that is very cheap for a full conversion. local car dismantler has offered me 1k cash, for him to re sell it for more so i won't be taking any less.
if your interested, check my other threads for my vs v6 extractors. may be able to do up a package deal. i can arrange deliver myself to melb, or arrange delivery elsewhere, obviously at your cost
