FREE - '97 VS Drivers Door.

Hey guys,

I've got a good condition (no dints or scrapes) 97 VSII Driver's door. It is missing the electric window motor/mechanism. It does have a window with it (but its a bit scrathed). It is dark blue in colour.

I bought it to replace the broken mechanism for the window, but my car is white, so i have a left over door.

Has it got a chrome strip on top off the door...bottom of window?

wavez - no it doesn't have a chrome strip, just black. the door is off an acclaim or equipe model i think, not a berlina/calais.

hi_ryder - sorry, not really looking to pull bits out of the doors. i just want the whole door gone. but yes, i can tell you that the door looms are identical VN-VS if that helps you. (same connector that hooks up to the car loom etc) - elec window, elec mirrors and central locking all work.

lo-rolla - yes, hinges are part of the door, and might have the pins lying around somewhere. if you're replacing a door then you can easily re-use whatever pins you have anyway if i can't find them. no, it doesnt have a red stripe. it has the factory black rubber strip.

hirolla - i was answering lo-rolla's question. similar names. thanks, yeah i know, it seems lots of ppl are keen on bits of a free door. i'll just answer questions if they're asked though. no point getting agitated. cheers.

maybe i should just keep the door as a spare. cos you know what will happen... i'll give it away and then the next day someone will run into my drivers door haha. but yeah if anyone needs it then feel free to grab it.
