VT SS 17" Rims
Hey all,
This is a top idea for this forum.
I'd just like to make everyone aware that 3 months ago (I know, it's been a while) I had my nice VT SS 17"s stolen off my beloved VP commodore, as I mentioned here: VR/VS hubcaps wanted to buy!
The rat bastards in question took the wheels and left my car sitting on the disks and chassis. A new set of plain old interceptors, some hubcaps, new rotors and a bunch of bodywork later and she's cruisin along fine again.
I know every 2nd person has VT SS rims on their commodore, so tracking them down is nigh on impossible. I just thought I'd put the word out...
Cheers all and have a great day!

Out the front of my ex girlfriend's (current girlfriend at the time) house in Karingal (Frankston, Melbourne). I'm over it, really. I just thought I'd put the word out in case anyone got offered some VT SS rims dirt cheap in this area. They're most probably on some losers car by now.

well theres ur problem there. It was in frankston! lol
(dont worry i grew up there) i moved recently from there to Altona and some stupid cnt tried ripping off my rims and left me with bent pannels and my wallet lighter.
Just buy stockys. Or you could just get lock nuts with 4 different types of lock nut.

Parking your car in Karingal? Asking for trouble dude. Knew a family that lived in Lucerne Cres - had to get bars on their windows. Only way to stop the constant break-ins.
Sorry to hear about the rims - absoloutely sucks - especially when they just leave it sitting on the discs like that. I mean it's just ****ing rude. Especially for a set of 17's - they're really not even worth that much second hand anymore!
Much damage to the car from it being dropped?

Yeah, good old Frankghanistan hey!
I've got stock interceptors with VS Berlina hubcaps on at the moment... thankfully no more hassle.

Hey it could be worse you could have left your car in the pines and would have come back to just a steering wheel on bricks. LOL

Hahaha, true, very true. I work in the pines occasionally too. Gotta keep a constant eye on my car. We call it "The Bronx".
