    Default Tough Decision

I'm looking to update my camera. ATM i have a fujifilm finepix s5700

I'm trying to decide if i should get a HD video camera, or a normal camera with a half decent video function. Dont wanna spend more than $400.

Main 2 im looking at are New FUJIFILM FinePix S2000hd Digital Camera Black - eBay 10.0 - 11.9 Megapixels, Compact, Digital Cameras, Cameras. (end time 18-Dec-09 23:10:37 AEDST)

    and

A0249 Sanyo Xacti VPC-WH1 Waterproof HD 30x+16GB+Gift - eBay, Other Digital Video Cameras, Digital Video Cameras, Cameras. (end time 25-Dec-09 22:26:38 AEDST)

What do you guys reckon, Main use will be my storm photography/ videoing and the odd car photo etc

Man, both of those are crazy cheap! To me the Sanyo looks a little too cheap. Stick with the quality you know and go the FujiFilm.

    Factory 5 speed VSII, now 4.2 Litre L67 with T56 6 speed

my two cents is to stick with fuji mate
i've used most brands and cant beat the shots that fuji produce, from my experience anyway.
    Cheers.

with that fugifilm one i put an offer on it on eBay and they counteroffered me at $259 so if i were you i'd jump at it for that price cause im broke, from reading the reviews on CNET the controls are really hard to use on this camera though.

did you see the camera shops or are they all closed for xmas/new year??

Did anyone click on my link?

It's $245 from an actual store, not a dodgy ebay seller lol.

If I was going to be taking lots of low-light shots I'd try and get a camera with good high-ISO performance.
