I like taking photos of fire, and I thought since we have a weather thread and sunset thread we need a fire thread. Here are a few I have taken.

from what i remember lol. yeah the whole summernats thing was an awesome experience. ill def be doing it again sometime. thought id give it a miss this year, maybe next year, give the builders a chance to change projects etc. think i got some video of the fireworks and jet cars. i got video of other nats "traditions" lol.

Well I was talking to Luke there on MSN one time after not being asleep for a few days and had gone a little crazy and I told him I needed a veggie garden but the backyard was full of weeds and grass and that I needed to light it on fire to get rid of the grass



Got a good crop of corn growing there now

Ah I t was pretty safe all the grass around was green except I had prepared the backyard earlier on by killing all the long grass/weeds. Then once all that was dry and crispy I threw a pile of wood/branches all over the yard and lit it up. it went good you can see the cloths line about half way up the fire. I noticed since I lived in this little town that most people light up their backyards in spring to clean weeds and burn off stuff that might catch on fire later. I used to think they were all crazy but it rubbed off on me this year. I will add, don't do this at your house:! it's legal where I live but not in most places

Fireworks in Darling Harbour on Valentines Day. I think it was the Chinese New Year?? Just by chance we saw them..lol
