haha another great tool on photoshop cs5 its the healing tool but it works much better and accurately now.
The picture I had to work with was in JPEG format so it was sorta shit quality but i'm gonna get the car cleaned and take it for a shoot with my Nikon D700 and get some nice crisp pictures.

yeah ive got cs3 and the healing tool is sh*thouse.
yeah some good pics with the car cleaned will be more fun to work with.

also ive been struggling with this and you look like you might be able to help.
do you know how i could cut out the calais logo well on this pic? ive tried the magic wand tool, lasso and magnetic lasso but they all look shit.
any ideas? maybe you can work some magic with cs5?!

just copy it to a blank canvas. and slowly delete around it then just copy it to what ever you want it on

I use the polygon lasso tool it take a bit longer but you can be for accurate. The magnetic lasso too works really shot unless the background is really uniform same with the magic wand tool.

I cut out the calais sign using the polygon lasso method and i placed it on a green background cause it will be easy to extract it off it. To select all of the green just go to SELECT>COLOUR RANGE then press ok. If there is some green showing press CTRL SHIFT I (whole the layer is still highlighted) then go to SELECT>MODIFY>CONTRACT and contract it by 1 or two then hit ok, then press CTRL SHIFT I and delete and it should be good to go
