This is where you will find Photoshop tutorials on car tuning and photoshop in general.
Feel free to post your own tutorials or request tutorials. Hopefully this thread will be helpfull to a lot of people.

First tutorial is about changing a car's colour and turning it black.
Upcoming tutorials, rim changing, lowering, exhaust changing, see through bonnet, colour correcting and some of Adobe Photoshop CS5's new features including content aware feature for healing brush, HDR imaging and refine edge selection.

Nice, only problem is that these sort of threads aren't being stickied.... I know I did two different tutorials on colour & whitewalling & levymetal did rims & lowering but they disappear of the normal list after 30days...

We might need to PM a mod to sort it out...

You have do really very nice job. I like it dude. I like the last one in black color. I think that You have got your own car image. I will also try to make the different car using this type of tools as well.

how do you do see through bonnets?

I'm sure Sik_VR could write up a tutorial for you but i'll give you a brief description.
First you need 2 photos of the car both a the exact same angle just one with the bonnet closed and one with it open.
Then you want to have the picture with the bonnet open on the first layer.
Then add a second layer with the picture of the bonnet closed.
Then go to your eraser tool and turn the hardness to 0% and a decent size and start slowly erasing the bonnet revealing the engine underneath.
