Wondering if someone can help me colour these rims black, wanna get an idea what these word turn out like black. These are stock VY SS Ute Rims.
If its possible, could someone do 2, one with the whole thing black, and one with just the inside of each section black, leaving the outside around the rim and the thicker part on the side of each section (spoke) silver.
Making something light into something black isn't easy... here's the whole thing blackened, had to get a better picture too cause your one is far too small.
and just the centres... kinda retro looking.

I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere
Thanks so much for that mate![]()
What colour is your ute? I'll put these on a picture of it (or similar) so you can get a better idea because the whole black one won't look good without context

haha just put pictures of my ute up mate, hope one of them will be alright
There is one, think it shows the rims the best of them all
Thanks for all that mateYeah i like the two tone, not sure if i wanna spend the money on it though.
Would you possibly be able to show me the first one again (so just the car with the black rims), but if you can do anything to make it glossy or shiny (not sure if you can do anything like that?)
Cheers
Yeah i think i might like to do that eventually, not too sure. I do agree, looks very spiffy
I'm just tryna find out what i'd actually have to do to the rims to get them glossy, cause i hate that "dead" looking black... I know a bloke who has a silver SSZ, and he just painted the rims black, and it looks like shit now. I don't want that to happen haha.
Anyone got any idea how i'd get them shiny?
No he just painted them himself, i dunno how... think just black paint, its pretty horrendous...
You reckon gloss black is the way to go?
ok mate, cheers
