well, even though these are not really picture worthy, i thought i would post them up anyway, cos' this was a days work (6 hours) just the door jams, the other side is someone elses problem. i think there are around 12 patches in total on these doors and one of the first things my friend started on 7 months ago.





at least they are done, either tonight or tomorrow i will hit them with colour and clear cos' it was around 40 degrees in the shed and the primer was drying before it hit the door jams. was kinda kewl. looked like hairs flyin' out the end of the spray gun... well it looked cool till it hit the door jams and went all lumpy which means i have to rub it back again.

did the hinges in primer too, thanks to the girlfriend and her wire wheeling skills all the patches on the bonnet are finished, but i have halted that till the doors are back on and there is a bit more free space in the shed. my mate did a massive patch in the front passenger guard, as pictured in my above post. he said that side is done, but i dont believe him till we remove all the rest of the paint. it used to be fun buzzing off paint/bog but after a couple of panels i know all i am gonna find is some other dodgie patch and rust.

anyway, nuff for now. im off to get pissed :P

oh yeah, the rubber kit arrived yesterday too. i have not opened it cos' normally they STINK, and cbf taking a pic of the box, so your just gonna have to trust me on this one ended up paying $300USD for shipping rather than the $35USD that was quoted cos' i think the women wasnt too smart and prolly thought australia was a state of USA. lol, true story: my girlfriend rang to check on delivery progress and when she was spelling my surname, the women on the other end said "is that M for mary or N for knife..." i cant believe my girlfriend was able to control her laughter.

anyways, i needed some bumpers so i caved and opened the Big Box (this is what 1300 bucks buys you these days


why did i need bumpers? so i could fit up the rear doors of course




in all my haste i did this, which sucks cos every time i open the drivers door, itll be the first thing i notice. since the paint is only a day old it is reaaaaly soft and marks so easily. i would have waited longer but i am running out of holidays

opinions pls. i noticed that the bolts i painted black seemed to go really nicely with the green so wanted peoples opinions on roof colour now. i know black will be hot as f.... in summer, but just a thought.

well, i got more rockers if ya need them. no idea why they would break like that, guess you gotta look at what is not stock with your valve train and figure out if its messing with your rocker ratio; ie, the shims.

you realise that yellas dont have that bridge yeah? might be the answer to all your woes
