Super charged 6 litre maloo Project

G'day all
Girlfriends brother became a very lucky person yesterday after he picked up a VY SS full Maloo spec 6 litre Supercharged write off (bent Chassis) this car has been worked..
you name it it's got it.. ill run off some i can remember.

Cam
Forged pistons
Yella Tella roller rockers
extractors
Kazz strengthened LSD 3:9 ratio
CAPA installed Supercharger
Rip shift.
The list goes on...and on... and on

He currently has a VY SS ute that was drowned in the Newcastle floods 2 years ago.. Body's fine, so he's going to transfer everything over, including HSV brakes, air bag suspension, hard top, cluster, seats... etc etc here are some pictures.. enjoy. And the RODEO that towed it from Brisbane to Newcastle

He got to reverse it up the driveway... it just has no radiator everthing else works ill post up videos later today... exhaust sounds amazing.. Dual 3 inch extractors and cam on a 6 litre... drool...

sounds good mate, bit of a mix and match. Sounds bloody awesome, shame it got so damaged, I take it it got a bent chassis and the other damage from a high speed impact?

Update:
Towed it from his old house to his new one Saturday, it's running now
had some issues with the fuel system.
Just needs charger plmubed up.. headlights.. and dual 3 inch exhaust hooked up
and she'll be road worthy..
Driving an LS2 with just extractors for an exhaust and a lumpy cam... im sure people from 2 towns over could hear it, but standing next to it is a diffrent story haha.. i would of recorded it but the distortion would of blew my phone mic up lol..
Oh and he's keeping the SS badges on, just transplaning most of the maloo parts over
exterior wise i think hes just transfering cab extender and HSV rims over, oh and the hard cover..
Interior, lvl 3 cluster.. seats.. sun roof at a later date..
Was funny towing it back to new house and having fully worked VE SS scream past us..
we looked at each other and say "yeah it's got nothing" haha cant wait till i get a test run in it..

Just one question, that centre console looks amazing, is that carbon fibre sheeting around the border or something similar?

Its giving me some ideas, I spray painted mine gloss black but not really happy with the results, I want something different like that.

If he was to pull the original Engine out, and do all that work to it, buy a new hard top, interior bits etc etc, it would be a project, no different from striiping the Maloo and adding it to the SS......

Sh1T, I call a wheel swap a project these days...lol....
Takes at least a slab and one of the boys to complete lmao....

In all honesty, Can't wait to see some footage of the SS, Such a shame for the Maloo, But I bet the old owner has flashing memories of the 30 seconds that ruined his dream car
