......Trailer
well now that ive pretty well finished my car off, time to move onto this, i bought it months ago but been busy, now its, its turn,
so the plan is, its going to be show trailer, in the end its going to be colour coded ssv wheels etc,
practical side, there will be a checkerplate box on the front to balance it, inside will be a generator, battery running off the alternator in the car through a dual battery isolator, this will be a setup for power to use when camping etc or if im using the trailer for work,
so specs so far,
-75x50x3 box frame with 2 cross rails
-VT front brakes (mainly for looks to fill out wheels)
-SSV wheels
-sprayed in Barbados Blue
-Deep cycle battery
-240/415V generator
-Front part of tray filled out with a steel panel
-Tub Liner
-Hard Cover
-Sealed bearing axle using vt non abs hubs
-4x4 Hilux leaf spring (nice and long will reducing harsh bouncing)
Today, got the main rails lined up and couple pilot holes drilled,
need to makes up a couple of spacers and brackets to mount those properly, then get cross supports measured out tacked in, weld it up, get guys from work to get the drawbar lined up and welded up....
anyway pics
had to cut some brackets to get rails level

Looks great Andy - whip it up the other way and you'll fit more stuff in it though
Reaper
yeah, they pop up occasionally, i was lucky heard this was around off a smashed ute, gave an offer and drove away with it.....
watch ebay i see them on a bit from tradies fitting alloy trays to them
total cost so far
complete tub with tub liner and soft cover $100
length of steel (on sale) $60
so $160, cheering

howdy guys,
been a bit quiet on it, but there isnt much more to do really,
ive got the frame rails bolted to the body, ive made brackets for the chassis so to speak to just bolt to the standard holden fixing points,
all i need to do now is the draw bar, and spring hangers/axle and brakes,
i believe ill use sealed commodore front hubs, for longer life and allow me to fit alloys with centre caps![]()
