my holden gemini's

so heres some pics of my two gemini's i have a TF SL/X which is goldish coloured and a green TC

needs some rust repair and a new drivers door.
lower a bit.
decent stereo.
15-16 inch wheels.
rebuild engine.
tough auto.
planning to keep it mostly stock for a neat daily.

My misus has a 84 TG gem thats been done up, put the 2L motor in it n shes even in the WA gems club lol. have u joined the big 1 over ur way? Oz gems i think is it?

the gold(brandy) one will be my new daily when its done.
the green ones going to have some body work done first of all then probably an EFI 2.6ltr from a TF rodeo and a 5 speed. im thinking diff conversion, maybe VLT or hilux diff. im kinda keen to have a go a twin charging(supercharger and a turbocharger) so i might have a crack at it with the green one.

getting moar parts this weekend i think need to get into the rust on the gold one, unfortunatly i can only work daylight hours as i have no lights in the shed at the moment. so thats sort of hindering progress at the moment as i work all day.

next couple of weeks im going to be busy most weekends as were moving workshops but after that im building the auto for the gemini at the shop.

those 2.6 rodeo motors are tough as all hell. you seen the r&e auto's TF rodeo? it has heaps of kays on it, like 600 or more.

love a good boostin too.

i got my chrome rocker cover today, not in the best condition but it should look alright.

currently got the front brakes apart because well they were just sitting there.

ok so ive got some spare front brakes so i pulled them apart.


and i found bad bad things




so its time for a rebuild ive got caliper rebuild kits ready to go

ive also got some wheel bearing kits on their way, might as well do them while theyre out.

had these lying around

so i might as well use them

i painted the calipers flat gold.

UPDATE TIME.

i got one caliper back together will do the other this afternoon looks pretty good now i think





and yesterday i got a little bored and decided to pull the front end out. surprizingly not very hard at all

currently saving my dollars for new bushes, shocks and springs for the front end. as the ones in it are the original factory items.
