project coffee table --i got bored

so basically, today i got way bored, and we had this v8 in our back yard inside i giant
garbage bag... so im like fark it ima make a coffee table :P

today basically all i did was pull it part from about 4-5.30

and got covered in crap








this was on the piston, whats it mean?

u can have what ever you want from that pile... i have 1 on the hj ute? dad was gonna sell it all, ill ask him tho cos their reco'd heads

um i will take it to dads mates and 'beed blast' the block, so its all clean, then ill clean up 4 of the pistons and "TRY" to weld them to the rods so they don't wobble.
then ill weld 4 rods to the corners of the block...

oh but before then i need to get it bored out to the size of wine bottles!!!
..i dont really wanna sepnd money tho..

then after all that get a retangalr piece of glass cut from dads mates
and get some of the clear grippie thingies and stick em on top of the piston and sit the glass on top..
then i dunno ill prob sell it or sit it in the corner of my bedroom

i was gonna do the same with some old ford pistons i found at the tip, but i would probly weld them to an old chaser rim for something different.

I was thinking of putting 2 strips of blue neons underneath each side of them
So they glow up through the cylinders.. But I don't think They'd be able to plug
Into a Wall socket..

oh yeah! der, didnt even notice the top ones bottles. looks like a pain in the arse to get them out. i say; go the second one, for when you need rapid access to your wine.

also you can get power supplys to run neons, the only thing about that is that you are going to have an annoying power cable going to your coffee table which people will trip over and itll look kinda ugly IMO.
