Raced one of these puppies at club level back in the 80's, we fitted a 13b rotary to it (on open QLD rego) and it flew. It was a common mod and i'll bet theres a stack of info on the net so you could do it too.

They're a fun little beast that will go anywhere, enjoy

It is a narrow track but once these go under it will it will be nice and wide

I have one if your interested has had the rust cut out and repaired just to 2x100mm plates need to be welded in the floor

33's will be the minimum tyres you will see on this once

It has the following mods done

Hilux leaf springs front and rear spoa
With drop shackles

Cruisers diffs with air lockers

And 6.5 reduction gears for transfer case

Done a few quick calculations and it won't be seeing
The freeway ever 6500rpm @ 100kmh

holy balls, are you going to put a 1.6 vitara engine in it or just boot around on the 1.3?

this thing should be serious, going to do an exo cage for some protection when it tips over?

If the 1.3 is too slow I will change to the 1.6

And yes will definitely be getting a exo but it will be removable

So I don't get hassled by the HWP

Little update


Front and rear diff are now mounted just need extended shackles

The body is all sprayed in primer highfill

Sanded one door and the bonnet so far I hate sanding

Got some 35x13.5" Maxxis trepadors

Now I'm just waiting for my 15x8s to arrive tomorrow
