hi guys though i would finally type up a project thread!!

so some of you may know about me wanting to put a 149 head on my 186..this is the plan.

186 block (pretty good block dont think it needs reconditioned)
149 head (ported and bigger valves)
2 single barrel strongburg carbs
mild cam
maybe roller rockers but might bust the budget
extractors 2.1/2 inch exaust system
torana diff

hopefully 5 spd celica gearbox but dont really want to turn to jap parts

i have some questions that need answered so ill fire away

what push rods do i need the 149 or the 186?
2 single barrel carbs or one double barrel?
are 202 valves bigger? wouldn't mind chucking them in, as my 186 currently has a 202 head.
what kind of gearbox would be appropriate?
how much hp is projected? im aiming for 200 at the flywheel
and projected compression?
