    Default Wheel Choice

Hi guys .. A quick poll on what wheels look best here.

It won't necessarily be one of these wheels I buy, you will see they are all very different styles though, and I am curious as to what general look you think suits the best, and the speedy simulator is an easy way of comparing.

You can vote for more than one wheel if you like.

Just want a general idea of style rather than specific wheels at this point. I guess price is unimportant, up to a point.. wont be buying any super expensive racing wheels or anything.

18" is as big as I will go.

What about Speedy Cheetahs? I loves them, and they'll look like the Grande's but better IMO

    Of the options a.

Don't buy speedy brand wheels. Friend of mine bought 15x10 steel wheels that are oval. They can barely be balanced but apparently it's within there roundness spec

its like no-one was reading the question lol i was talking general styles not specific wheels and certainly not specifically speedy either. No matter, was just asking opinions I would have finished up choosing something else anyway.

They dont look bad at all, got a pic of them on a car? What sorta deal you interested in? Biggest problem I can see with them is that I am going to need pretty brakes too lol...

another point.. I only ever buy 5 wheels not 4. Cant stand having to put a crap spare on an otherwise nice car.. do you have 5 or I need to factor in buying a 5th one as well?

*Sigs ugggghhhhh sorry. VE SSVs.. do they even fit? Not sure I am comfortable with getting wheels machined to fit..

*Speedy cheeters.. not bad, will add them to the list of possibles. Hmmm chrome or black..?

    *WTF are fanblades?

Also, surprised at the recommendations for 15x10... everyone keeps telling me bigger wheels will look better? + 10" wide wheels are going to cause some space issues in the wheel arches arent they?

lol, sounds exactly like one of my polls

i say 15" inch because personally i prefer smaller rims. big wheel make you car look like its riding on stilts. they are generally a LOT heavier than stock steel rims and you always worry bout gutter rash and theft. too much effort.

small rims mean when you lower the car, it actually LOOKS lower, even though its the same height. there is no guard rub (although 10" is a bit overboard, you could safely go 7 or 8) no one will steal them, they fill out the wheel arches better and good quality tyres are a 3rd of the price (notice i said GOOD QUALITY, i know you can get 19's in chinease rubbish rubber for a packet of chips and a coke nowadays). and best of all you dont look like a douche 14 year old boy racer
