well today i started new project to redo all car audio
new cd player wiht usb (kenwood) thanx lenwood for the freebee:P

today i sound deadned the hole boot and rear shelf
had 6x9's in the rear shelf and took them out and chucked in the bin
sony will never go near my car again

new system is 2 x 15 inch pioneer subz
3000 watt monoblock amp
already got splits up front and ne wone going in rear
custom boot install
led lighting through out the car
made new shelf for rear and vinyl'd it in black
(no pics yet)

will post pics as i go and hopefully it wont take to long only a few weeks

its not hard just takes time
ya peel off backing paper place on surface heat wiht heat gun and push it into all the nooks and crannies
built box today for the 2 15's

anyways quick update
sound deadend all 4 doors boot rear shelf
placed 2 tweeters in rear shelf and vinyld shelf but looked a bit crap so took it out and redone it in black meltrim (carpet) and removed the indent where baby seat bolt goes
shelf is now fibreglassed and solid as
2 x 8inch midrange spkrs in rear pulldown seat
2 x 8inch to go up under where feet go (still to do)
splits in front doors done

also some led mods to get ya in the mood

red leds in open door jam so oncoming cars see ya door opening
blue in door locks
white in rear for rear passengers

ps b4 ppl bag the rice affect come have a look its not bright its suttle

Dont spose you could put up instructions on how you put the LEDs in the door locks can you? Looks bloody awsome and would love it on my vt! CHeers

subz i got off a mate for 200 bux

the leds are basicly tapped into the light circuit and ran wires into evvery door and to the led so when doors open they light up the button

the red leds in lower door so when door is open cars can see you are actually tapped into the locking circuit so they only light up when car unlocked

i dont have pics of install but taking door skins off again soon so ill get soem pics
