My New Project/Toy

G-Day all,

Other then my Blue VN which is now just my thrashing/Burnout Car, i have just Brought another VN.

The New Project is a Yellow VN BT-1 Ex Interceptor.

Engine: 5 Litre V8

GrearBox: 5 Speed Manual

Diff: LSD (Limited Slip Diff)

Exterior: Full VN SS Group A Body Kit

Interior: Stock Standard VN Brown Exec (will deffently be replaced) with a Mosta Taco and Temp Gauge.

I picked her up for $5000 as it sits with 11 months Reg, No RWC.
Im Picking it up tomorrow Night i Hope, so ill take some pic's of it inside and out again at my place and ill post them.

lol Yer m8 i was i was buying a New Temp Gaudge for it as the Dash one doesn't work, but thanx i thought the same when i 1st seen it too. and i was like "Oh Yer thats mine" lol

Iv started Changineg things on the car, iv Re-moved the Taco that was mounted on the dash and also the Temp Gauge and Mounted the Temp Gauge on the Bonnet.

Anyway guys after work when i came home i was a little bored so i decided to start doing the Interior in her.

Next step in the make ova of the Interior.............It's Close to being Finnnished now all is left to do are the Door Trims, Roof Linning, Centre Consol and the Re-Trimming of the Seat's.

looking good so glad you got rid of that crappy brown a mate of mine had it in vn exec the first day he had it we had the interior out and it was painted the next day he did his similar to yours but red where you have yellow also love the sticker on the bonnet bulge same pic i have in my sig keep up the good work

Thanks guys, not long now and the Interior will be put into the car, just have to pic up a engine crane to swap engines at the same time. (Engine out of my blue Vn is going in the Yellow one Reason being is coz it has more Balls the the Yellow Engine). and once thats done the Yellow Motor will be Stroked to a 355ci Cant wait..................lol

Here is a Short Up-Date on the Progress, Done a few more little things, well a bit more as i didnt like the Satian Yellow so i went something closer to the Yellow of the car which was Canary Yellow.

So i pulled every thing apart to re spray it lol. Looks better though!

Here is the Grill i did to Relpace the smashed Group A one for now.

man thats sweet. how long did it take you to rip the whole dash out?

To take every thing out took me about half a day maybe a bit longer, but it wasnt long, thats non stop flat out un-srewin the crap though, iv done it quite a few time now so it was easy for me.

also i've heard from a few people. there saying like don't take your dash out and replace it. another one will never sit in the same. wtf are they on about?. cause I'm going to the wreckers in a few days to get a complete Grey dash out of a vn for my vp.

ive done that heaps of times m8 and ive had no troubles im pretty sure it will work coz their all the same well the vn and vp are anyways

you can even put vr/vs dashes in vn/vp's with ease i know of about 5 vn's with vr dashes
