Vn Vengeance 9seconds A.k.a Vwnd

OK..... as most of you know that vn vengeance finished its life as a 11.99 second car running at 114.76MPH as we speak now the car is being stripped and parts are being sold on ebay. The project of vengeance ended up money spent upto $20,000,I have wondered why no one out there has tryed to continue it. Now my plan is to either use my heavy ass vn berlina as the project car or buy an exec. But that i will have to decide in the very very near future. My plans is to get the V6 to run in the 9second mark with the amount of $40.000 tops will be spent on the project. So thought id put this on here just so u guys can keep an eye out on the project i am gonna undertake in the start of 08/12/07..... TO BE CONTINUE

lol you can run a 9 with a 304 and allow yourself 10 grand to rebuild it a bit stronger and buy your turbos and stick it all in a torana whyyyyyyyyyyyy spend 40 grand to do the same to the vn!?!. You could even buy a pre made VL for 20 or 30 grand ready to roll onto the track and run a 9 too

Anyway I've been thinking about this post a bit more and I thought to myself why would you want to build a 9 second car when at the moment you have a car that probably runs a 16 flat. Even the difference between a 16 flat car and a high 13 second car would scare the pants off you and anything that runs quicker than a 12 is a serious handful that needs alot of respect on the street

reason why i dont wanna buy a vl with the $40g is because theres already lots of vls in that mark isnt there? My question is, is there any vn v6's running in the 9's if there isnt then i wanna try do it since ill have the cash by the 8/12 this year given to me. why tell ya how or from who but itll in my hands by that date, But right now im broke as anything. Its amazing ay how first minute you can be so broke than the next minute u neva know wat kinda cash comes at ya

There's a lot of VLs running 10s because VLs CAN run 10s. They're marginally lighter, and the RB30s respond very well to turbocharging - not to mention there are a whole host of experienced modifiers and parts for that motor. Still, my mate Mike who had a 10sec VL (before he launched a rod) had spent 50k plus on the damn thing.

9s in a VN? What you want is a 5.7l V8 and some induction Oh, and then you'll have to rebuild your driveline, 'cause drag slicks on a live rear trying to put down 700hp will eventually rip your control arms clean off the chassis.

Just some food for thought

We're not saying you'll never do it... just saying that afterwards, you'll be having some serious second thoughts. You know, like "wow, I could own half a house by now..."

what time did geoff whyte run. he holds the record for the fastest buick v6 in australia i think. he was trying to sell his wagon for about 13000. i think. why don't ya track him down and buy that. would be a good start. it was ebay ages ago..

hell, i'll be happy if i can get my VN exec to a mid 14 n/a, add a shot of giggle gas and make it a mid 13sec car thats fast enough for my daily driver
