looking for a project ute, VU +

hey guys, next year or so i will be wanting to start my own project car, well project ute, and i want the model to be a VU plus.

the condition i want it in is

a reasonable to near perfect working motor

body can be buggered as all heck (but chassis in perfect nick, so just the bodywork can be damaged) (to an extent)

the tray can be damaged again to an extent

interior can be all ripped up, cracked etc

paint can be faded/crappy

electrics can not be working

rims can be crappy old tradie stocks


so with all that in mind, how much would i be looking at buying a ute like that?

i know its a rough estimate

Only a guess somewhere between $3000-$7000 i would say, depends on how much damage there is aye....

oh ok, sounds alright. pretty much i just wanted to know roughly, as in like saving or something, but there is alot of factors that affect the price but thanks holdenman

Yeah mate there's heaps of factors, to look into, what ya can do mate is check PICKLES online and they might have some in there, and just see how much they are going for, so you got a rough idea, im not 100% if they got prices thou you could always ring up, and see how much they went for etc

Yeah, what you do mate is go down there a see how much they go for so you got a pretty good idea on how much your gona need to save up to get one..
