    Default eh project

    here are some pictures of my eh sdn. had if for about 3 years but am trying to serious on it to finish by december for me mates wedding. got a 202 fuel injected black motor with but instead of injection put on a x2 twin carb manifold with x2 headers.got some 15 standard wheels to fit with the hubcaps made up that look good with decent tyres. hr disk brake front end, trimatic out of a hz holden with an 1800 stall converter.battery in the boot& lsd banjo diff. im after suggestions for colors to paint her in so any suggestions will be taken into account. motor used 2 great in a vh so it should good in an eh. iv run out of room in he shed finnished parts now go in the house. also enclosed a picture of my hq ute i did up 5 years ago. 308 trimatic 2800 stall converter 9inch diff with full spooll 4.11 gears 650 demon carby custom made hard cover by me

    Go the old holdens! i have a few old girls= eh ute, x2 ek utes, fj sedan, fb,sedan , fc sedan, x2 hq utes, x2 mixed sandman replicas hg, hq and wb (one has twin headlight apron gts guards and gts interior) the only ones you can drive are the 2 panel vans one of the hq's and the eh! i will do them up one day! it takes time and money!

    Good stuff dude. Just about to start my own EH with a 5 Litre and if it comes out as good as your ute, I will be very happy

    Mite hit you up with some EH specific stuff later on if ya don't mind?

    one thing i found to change was the wiper motor. a nice small one of a jap works well. made adaptor plate to original holes.no drilling. also if you had a drum front end like i did,it is cheaper 2 buy one ready to go than rebuild one. go with one that will have holden stub axles & commodore brakes. i went hr brakes & disks,,expencive. trying to re wire the head lights & hide the wiring but get lost with all the wires some times. going to get it painted in the next few weeks so will put on some pics when i do. still up for options to paint it but am thinking the original color looks good. any imput would be greatly appreciated. also got a hk munro hidden away to that will be next to spent time & money on. have always done everything me self:weldingaintinganel beating:engine rebuilder: auto electrician: not so good at the last. its the only way to do things. even brocky & bev would agree with me there.

    Do you know of the website Oldholden.com? There are heaps of guys there with some good ideas and help. A guy called ReaperHR has heaps of How toos and stuff.

    Ive always wanted to do an EH, they would have to be the best old holden. GL with it all mate
