Project VX Walkinshaw

Hi people,

First of all i have 2 questions for everyone!

1. Has anyone seen a VT/VX Commodore with a VL Walkinshaw Bonnet Scoop??????

2. What do you think a VL Walkinshaw scoop would look good on VX????

(i have a dodgee photo shop image of a VX clubbie with VL walky scoop will upload thursday).

They look bad on the VL's, they look bad on the VE's so i'd expect they'd look crap on a VX. Personally, I'd steer clear.

But yeah I agree that It don't look great on a VX...

The VX is a very flowy and visually delicate shape... the VL Walky bonnet bugdge is very aggressive and I don't think it would blend in well...

Plus i personally think that early model parts on late model cars looks abit... weird...

Like putting rims Off a VS clubby on a VX clubby for example...

Yeah true... but i think it would look okay ill show you what the scoop looks like tomorrow!

But i do want some sort of scoop on the car any ideas neone n yeah the monaro one is okay, but every man and his woman have got one.. but id rather bolt on type and different!

yehh, leave the vx alone m8.... they look soo much better stock then crap bodykits and scoops that ppl put on them...... hmm idk u cud pull it off, but i highly doubt it

^^^ What do you mean who cares what people think... thats the subject of this thread... he asked for other peoples opinion on the idea... so i guess you could say he cares what people think.

Can't make a judgement on that photoshop image...

I don't think it would look good but it could be one of those things everyone says will look cr@p until **************** decides to features it!!

looks interesting, tho i think it may look different in reality.

worth a look at a ve walky scoop tho to see what it looks like.

Photoshop doesn't give a real good view as it's not 3D and show how high the scoop sits. It doesn't look too bad though.

Nah, everyone has a monaro one :P

And i think monaro bonnet only suits monaro.

That actually doesn't look that bad in that pic. But that looks nothing like a stock VX. Would look like shit on a VX with standard bars no skirts etc. Ive seen a walky scoop on a VN before... Looked like shit.

Looks to squarish on the VX, it's a roundish body, with a squarish bonnet scoop.......go the BA bonnet bulge, they look nutz on the VT's and up.

You would have to have a clubsport body kit as well to look right.On a standard vx, NO WAY
