    Default The HJ Prem

    Waiting for the truck to arrive so this thing is home.
    Not sure what to do with it yet.
    1976 HJ Premier 253 V8 trimatic(column shift)Mint black trim air con,lowered,very oldschool Dragway mags.
    Unfinished project with minor rust(holes)in the rear quarters and only a little bit of surface rust where the windscreen mould goes on one side,usually they are rusted through by now.

    This is good site to watch.I found it informative as I have been researching a lot lately on such matters such as you talk about.

    Not sure yet,car runs but need a carby kit through it and it has no reverse(have good auto in the boot though)
    Car is already lowered and has a nice thick sway bar under the bum,bigger exhaust too.

    luv the old prems,, i'd just tidy it up and get a nice respray and keep it looking fairly stock,, they look great as they are

    Looks good mate, just needs a bit of a clean-up and a respray.

    I got a HZ Statesman in the same colour.......

    You gonna put the side trims back on or just fill up the holes?

    Time for an update.
    Was sick of looking at it so i sold it.Purchase price $400 sold for $1050.Sweet.

    Nah couldnt be bothered,knew i could make some extra dollars from it.Next car im hunting is a HQ Statesman that i found under cover at a block of flats.Found the HJ on another forum,way too cheap to turn down.

    Yeh, you could probs get close to 400 just for the wheels lol.


    HQ Statesman, nice. There's this beautiful HQ Statesman near my mates place. I'm told it's a factory 350 chev model. Immaculate.
