Cop Flashed Me With Their Headlights?

Hey guys, last night when i was driving to work last night , i was driving On Jell Road when suddenly a cop car just flashes me with their headlights , I'm just wonder why they flashed me , its 1st time this has happen, i did installed new lights earlier in the week but i doubt it was because of that, the cop car just flashed me and just drive off?

youll prolly find he was saying dip your lights
if you installed new lights they may be facing upwards to much and bllinding other drivers

just very strange that's the 1st time its happen after changing globes for my car, i was worried about getting defect since one my h7 globes was blown and now my lights are 2 bright i can't win

As above, he was warning you about something. (they also sometimes just flash the red and blues once or twice to get your attention)

I had this happen once when i had a headlight out. as much better than a defect.

Either way, they were still trying to get your attention.

Do you have a manual for your car? Check the heights of the lights like daron suggested. If thats not the problem, its the globes, and you'll have to get stock ones.

just adjust ya lights down a bit
out of ppls eyes youll be fine unless you changed them to superdopper biright then your just dumb

the newer cop cars have the flash headlights, perhaps he was going over a bump, and what you thought was a headlight flash was his lights simply rising with the car? i know this happens to me often on the high quality qld roads.

Much different to the 'something wrong with your car' high beam.

Yeah ive driven home from work along Burwood HWY and have one of their cars come screaming up behind me and just flash the highbeams instead of flashing their lights, I quickly realised it was to get me to move over. Either pizza was ready or they didnt want the sirens going to surprise someone.

I had a Police HWP car following me along a 50km/h zone, when a car doing probably 65 to 70km/h come towards us. The Police car flashed his lights at the other car but didn't turn around.

they usually flash you to tell you something or scare you and make you drive normally. they usually like to pick on p platers alot with stuff like this. i got a mate who is a freshie cop and he says that when hes in the squad cars whenever they see a p plater they like to follow them for a bit to see how they react. i once had this lame ass cop watch me leave the pizza hut car park folowed me for 2 kms then pull me over. he used this lame excuse that he was pulling over all white commodores in the area. i had the pizzas on the front seat next to me and i wound the window down and he stuck his head in and sniffed "mmmmm that smells like pizza!" what a &*^&% PIG

i drive around with my "driving/fog lights on" all the time, at night and sometimes during the day, coppers dont give a rats, i pass heaps of them, and the coppers in the ss and sv6 patrol cars use them too so blah


just so you know my foggies beam is adjusted to the max on the down wards position the be considerate to other drivers

since i got flashed Ive changed my speed alarm to 60km now, just heard from my Mrs that Jells road is a hot spot for speeding and getting cought aswell.
