    Default Different names for "Hoons"

    Hi all, I read a lot of stories on here that refer to young people as "Hoons".
    My grandmother used to call the Hoons back then "Bodgies" or "Louts". Does anyone else have different names for them?

    I have always known them to be "hoons". Most of my relo's grew up and still live down at Phillip Island, during the summer especially, i remember the whole family having a BBQ and beers outside at my Grandfathers house off Red Rocks road down at the island which his street is a gravel road, anytime someone came into his street fast or with wheels spinning, he would shout "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON".

    It always used to make me piss myself laughing as a kid.
