Cruising – mates or alone?

When you get the urge to cruise, do you do it with certain mates in your car, mates with their own cars (meet at designated place), or with G/Friend or alone?

both area good options going alone and crusie with your mates with there own cars, but going alone i guess would keep you out of less trouble, hence the idea of being a taxi

Probably the best cruise i've had was with a girl who happened to be a friend with me... Other than that cruises with multiple people in their own cars is next best, then worst is all in your car! However, all in different cars can be difficult to co-ordinate. E.g. when one car in our convoys gets left at a red light our hazard lights go on (for people that had gone through on the green or amber) right after the intersection to wait for them.

Must say best cruise/drive I have done was by myself.... Penrith to Campbelltown via The Northern Rd.... Early evening, good music and a nice pace....

Depends on the cruise.


Hills thrash, no other cars. City cruise, maybe a few cars.
I never have more than one passenger. Unless for burnouts.

no other cars cos im rather spontaneous as far as direction dont really like following people around usually one other person who likes the same music as me, i dont do skids/burnouts, i dont like driving around near mates that are doing them cos it gets me in trouble

i gotta chose between company and alone (with loud music). not too many friends of mine like my music, so i do 50/50. i will do alone (music only), with very windy hilly roads, or more straighter roads with friends that get may car sick on tight corners.

best ones i believe is a group of cars with 2 people in each car, good convoy and not too lonely.
3 is alright, but kinda bad for the person in the back, little left out.
i prefer cruising with a mate generally. But love to cruise by myself if theres something going on with me, clears my head up, relaxing, calms me down better than anything.

I'm kinda like that too actually. After one sump, one electric aerial, one tyre bulge (in the same week as the aerial), popped off left hand side of front bumper (same week again), scratched headlight... the list goes on! :O

I do like cruises by myself too, but i reckon with one other person is better

By myself. If my mates or missus are in the car, all they bloody do is talk when i'm trying to listen to a good track. Shits me when i have to turn the stereo up and down, up and down, up and down.

I rarely drive for the hell of it but when i do its only by myself. I hate driving other people in the car because they expect you to talk and i hate following other cars cause half the time they flog it through an orange light which shits me

cruzn around town you need people with ya or you simply look like a knob....the problem with my mates used to be nobody wanted to drive only wanted to get smashed, i was the taxi but i didnt mind....mates used to call friday mornings to "book" their seats lol..they were the days.....but if you go scenic then yeah alone helps clear your head...

you must listen to metal then haha, i get the same thing, but they r usually ok with it, i just have it on 'medium' volume.

i dont mind either way, but i do like someone to chat to while driving around

I find being by myself relaxes me.. I can think of nothing better than belting down the highway on a sunny day with all the windows slammed listening to my favorite song as loud as it can go.

Definitely depends on the mood.

To clear my head when there is stuff going on and do some thinking its definitely alone, have had many of these cruises. Most memorable was last year when I just got my license I cruised from here (brisbane) down to lismore and back one school night. Most of these cruises are on deserted roads at after midnight through where there are barely any cars or houses around, and with the way I drive then, I'm definitely not allowing any passengers.

Around town just out for a drive definitely get mates to come with, 2-3 people in the car is about it though, otherwise it's just to crowded. Best cruises with mates are the ones with around 5-10 cars with 2-3 people per car. good mix.

i like to either have a full car (tucks rim with just me.. so tucks alot with a full car)

or just me and 1 passenger... i hate loud music in cars it shits me, i prefer the sound of a V8 anyday over music

i also have the problem my music selection drives people crazy,
manly because the genre will change too many times, and the choice of music is either too obscure/too weird, or its too annoyingly mainstream lol
